With just under a week left to enter the 2014 Slow Toy Awards, the team behind the inspired campaign are making a final call for entries. With a panel of prestigious judges, the support of a national retailer and new craft category, this year's awards are not to be missed!
Since John Lewis were unveiled as the official partner for this year's awards, the team have been inundated with entries, making this year's awards the most gripping yet. Teaming up with John Lewis will not only see The Slow Seven and Slow Craft Toy be unveiled at a press event at the prestigious Oxford Street store later this year, but the individual winners will also have their product on sale at johnlewis.com, providing an incredible opportunity for the winning eight to be positioned in front of a national audience.
It is fair to say that the Slow Toy movement has not only inspired the toy industry, but it has also captured the attention of the world. Winning a Slow Toy award is now an internationally recognised mark of distinction. It represents your toy as one that is high quality, inspiring and most importantly one that offers children true play value!
Just like previous years the 2014 Slow Toy Awards aim to recognise the 'real toys' on the market that are well made, inspire the mind and provide children far more than the noise and flashing lights commonly associated with the toys of today.
The deadline for entries for the 2014 Slow Toy Awards is 5pm on 22nd August.
Simply email ENTER to slowtoyawards2014@gmail.com for the entry form. To ensure we do not alienate anyone and welcome all brands both big and small, the awards are free to enter. However it should be noted that 6 non-returnable samples will be required for those who are shortlisted and there is also a small fee to pay if you win to contribute to publicity.
