The popular, coastal Giving & Living trade show will now take place from Sunday 18th to Tuesday 20th January 2026, in its usual venue, Westpoint in Exeter, just one mile off the M5, in the heart of the beautiful South West. The later dates mean that the show no longer clashes with Top Drawer Spring, or Harrogate Christmas Fair. Great news!

Discover! Creative Careers has announced a major expansion of its national government-funded programme to inspire more 11–18-year-olds into crafts and other creative industries. Discover! Creative Careers' flagship annual event, Discover! Creative Careers Week, has been expanded to a month-long programme of industry encounters this November. The event connects young people with real-world experiences in the creative industries through employer-led events, talks, and workshops designed to inspire future talent into crafts.

WOVEN 2025, the festival celebrating textiles and creativity across Kirklees, officially launched at Oakwell Hall, Birstall, this weekend with World Stitch Day, and even the rain didn't dampen spirits.
The festival kicked off unofficially on Sat 31st May with the installation of the internationally renowned Red Dress, a symbol of global collaboration and creativity led by artist Kirstie Macleod. The launch event marks the start of a month-long celebration of textiles, heritage and community spirit, with events taking place across Kirklees throughout June.

Craft Industry Alliance is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Golden Scissors Awards, recognising excellence in the crafts industry. The awards ceremony took place live on stage at h+h Americas. Five outstanding craft professionals were recognised in front of an audience of several hundred of their peers for their contributions to the industry. h+h americas 2025 concluded its most successful edition yet, welcoming more than 5,180 industry professionals (29.7% increase over 2024) from 48 countries, all 50 U.S. states and 2 U.S. territories to the Donald E. Stephens Convention & Conference Center in Rosemont, Illinois. With 558 exhibitors representing 27 nations and a dynamic lineup of over 328 programmes, this year's event continued to set the standard as North America's most influential handicraft trade show.

The Creative Craft Show will return to Farnborough International for its fifth year running, once again with its sister show, The Stitching Show. Once again, Creativeworld exhibitors have generously donated a wide range of creative materials to the Frankfurt Children's Office , supporting children in Frankfurt, Germany, in their artistic endeavours. The materials, originally displayed at the international trade fair for hobby, craft, and artists' supplies, are given a sustainable second life, benefiting childcare and educational institutions in need of painting and craft materials.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, CHSI Stitches attracted the industry to explore innovative products from top brands and listen to prominent speakers. Returning to the NEC for its milestone event, the show welcomed leading creative craft brands alongside emerging designer makers. The exhibition floor showcased an impressive variety of craft products, ranging from traditional favourites to cutting-edge materials, with numerous new retailers exhibiting for the first time.
