The National Stationery Week team are thrilled to announce the first official sponsor of the 2022 campaign - Silvine. Rich in history, the iconic stationery brand's heritage dates back since 1837 and this May will see the brand take centre stage as one of the leading sponsors of NSW. Jakar International will be taking to London Stationery Show its extensive range of Jakar art, craft and stationery materials as well as Caran d'Ache artist materials and colour products. The company has just introduced three different types of spiral bound, micro perforated artwork pads, sketching, drawing and painting, with 12 different front covers, four designs per type. Jakar is also excited about its new range of eight artwork sketch books with hard and flexible covers, 192 pages, case bound. The eco-friendly range of stationery products now includes wooden rulers and pencil sharpeners as well as rulers and sharpeners made from recycled and bio-based materials.

ExaClair Limited has revealed the latest addition to their line-up of prestigious luxury Jacques Herbin inks, named Shogun. The ink was developed in collaboration with international fashion designer, Kenzo Takada, who sadly passed away last year, not long after the partnership with Jacques Herbin had begun. Thus, the ink pays homage to the iconic designer.
Recognised worldwide, Kenzo Takada was one of the most renowned fashion designers of his generation. His exceptional style combines a variety of multicultural inspirations with a distinctly Japanese touch. "Having had a tumultuous two years, we were ecstatic to finally get back to the Business Design Centre (5th-6th October) and bring the stationery community together once more" says Event Director, Alex Butler.Both visitors and exhibitors alike were reunited with much-missed friends, colleagues, and clients, and it didn't take long before stationery buyers were placing orders face-to-face, keeping up to date with current trends and getting hands-on with new products. "It's great to be back seeing our clients again. Being able to present products, not over video calls, but at the show where visitors can touch and feel the products", commented Glenn Bowen of Pukka Pads. Rachel Owen, who heads up the marketing for Staedtler UK said that "it's great to be back seeing customers face-to-face and having those quality interactions, as well as being able to meet new customers".

Pentel is replacing all its key blister cards with a range of plastic-free packaging made from 100 per cent recyclable cardboard.The new hanging packs combine high impact appearance, with excellent product visibility and are the result of extensive planning and research. Pentel Marketing Manager Wendy Vickery explained, "Moving away from conventional blister cards, with their single-use plastic, is the right thing to do for the environment, but it's not without its challenges. The obvious benefit of the plastic bubble is that it affords full product visibility to the consumer, which is a real advantage in those precious few seconds at the point of sale."
