Nurge has a real following for its high-quality beech wood embroidery products, including three different size multi-adjustable embroidery stands and a wide variety of hoops with brass fittings up to a super 1in (24mm) depth, with Quilt hoops up to a huge 28in (700mm) diameter.
However, following many requests for square hoops, Nurge has introduced a Square Plastic Hoop range. With the usual high quality, they have a strong, easy adjustable screw tightening, and a grove on the inside of the hoop to hold the fabric tight.

They come in four sizes from 4in (110mm) up to the 11in (280mm), which is often used for display in A4 frames. They're 10mm deep and rigid, which makes them popular with machine embroiders. Whilst called Square, the hoops are actually slightly rectangular to suit formats better.

You can see the products on the Nurge Distribution website, where there are also contact details for trade enquiries. You can email wholesale@nurge.net for further info.
