Craft and cat lovers are invited to take part in the charity's latest craftalong event where they'll receive the exclusive Craft for Cats cross stitch pattern to follow and colour as they wish. This is designed to be inclusive for cross stitch beginners who want to try something new, as well as experts who want to brush up on their skills. They can join in with the live craftalong with Caterpillar Cross Stitch on Facebook from 10am to midday on Saturday 4 May, or catch up later by watching a video recording. The cost to take part is £23 (with £10 going to help cats) and includes a craft kit, exclusive access to the Craft for Cats Facebook group, support from a dedicated team and access to the live craftalong. The image that graces the front cover of our October/November issue entitled 'Cunning' is the latest counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads, inspired by artist Rachel Froud. Part of The Menagerie Collection, the range is based on brightly coloured animal closeups and also includes Sea turtles, elephants, lions and more. Worked on 14 count full colour printed Zweigart Aida with pre-sorted stranded cottons this design uses cross stitch and back stitch.
