UK sewing franchise upsizes with new premises & retail space

Sew Confident, the UK's only sewing tuition franchise, is celebrating 10 years in business as they expand into a brand new studio and retail space four times the size of their previous site. The 360 sqft site on Great Western Road, Glasgow, will double the amount of classes on offer at the franchise headquarters, now with locations in Dundee and Chorley, while creating several new jobs including a shop manager as a retail offering is introduced.

The Big Sew Off in aid of MIND

Announcing The Big Sew Off. Sew Over It, one of the UK's popular sewing communities are sewing for 24 hours non-stop this May to raise money for mental health charity Mind.

The Big Sew Off takes place on Thursday 12th May, 2022. Lisa Comfort, founder of Sew Over It, and the team will be sewing for 24 hours from a sewing hub in London donated by Workspace. Other sewing businesses, personalities and sewing Instagrammers will be joining the sewathon in the capital or from their own hubs around the UK.
