Cath Kidston Padgham & The Indian Block Print Co partner

Iconic print designer Cath Kidston Padgham MBE has partnered with Oxfordshire-based The Indian Block Print Co. to design three exclusive sets of Indian wooden printing blocks and fabric paint palette, inspired by her love of gardening and scented geraniums. The blocks have been designed by Cath's own studio Joy of Print which she founded in 2017. The company designs print and product for international retailers as well as sharing its distinctive portfolio in collaboration with like-minded brands.

Stationery Awards 2024: The Winners

The winners of the Stationery Awards 2024 were announced Tuesday 14th May at the close of the first day of London Stationery Show at the Business Design Centre. There were over 70 products nominated from 40 different brands, from the well-established to newbies on the scene. Judged by an independent panel of leading retailers, across 12 distinct product categories, the awards recognise the greatest product innovations in the stationery sector.

Creativeworld exhibitors donate art supplies for children

95 exhibitors at this year's Creativeworld have donated high-quality trade fair samples from their craft and creative product ranges to the Frankfurt Children's Office. Hence, they are provinding around 4,000 children in more than 60 children's and young people's centres in the Rhine-Main region with products like brushes and paints, modelling clay and pens as well as special trend products and materials for the latest creative techniques for free.

h+h americas 2024 sets new records

The third edition of h+h americas confirmed its status as the fastest growing US event for the handicraft industry. A record number of 3,831 professionals from 36 countries and all 50 US states ventured to Rosemont to source the latest crafts products from 402 vendors, increasing exhibitor participation by 50% compared to the previous year. Attendees consisted of major retailers such as Michaels, JOANN Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, Blick Art Materials as well as store owners from all across North and South America and Europe. Combined social media engagement reached 17 Million viewers based on data provided by attending content creators.

Autumn Fair and Faire partner to simplify buying for retailers

Autumn Fair, retail's leading seasonal showcase for the home, gift and fashion industries, has announced an exclusive partnership with Faire, Europe's leading wholesale marketplace.

Faire will help hundreds of exhibiting brands take orders on its platform from retailers attending the show. This collaboration will bridge online and offline wholesale for the first time in the UK and simplify the buying process for up to 20,000 independent retailers.

ACID CEO Dids MacDonald has been recognised on the Women in Trades Association Powerlist 2024.

The Trade Association Forum (TAF), the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) joined forces to champion the role of women in trade associations and celebrate their achievements.

TAF, FSB and CBI are led by strong female champions and are supported in their respective organisations by brilliant women at all stages of their careers.

In a joint statement they said: "It is our shared ambition to support our own staff and other inspirational women in trade associations to be powerful advocates for diversity and inclusion in their sectors and more widely to support and encourage female business leaders and entrepreneurs."
