David & Charles, a leading publisher of creative and practical hobby books, is proud to announce a significant donation of books to British Heart Foundation (BHF) earlier this year. The donation, which comprises a substantial volume of titles across various genres, generated approximately £120,000 in revenue for the charity. The books, which include a wide range of craft, lifestyle, and art titles, were distributed to BHF shops across the country, providing a boost to their stock and offering customers a fantastic selection of new books to purchase. The funds raised from the sale of these books goes directly towards the BHF's life-saving research into cardiovascular diseases, which affect millions of people in the UK.

Karen O'Donoghue, Head of Retail Partnerships at British Heart Foundation said: "We are delighted that this very generous donation of books from David & Charles has raised a significant amount of money for British Heart Foundation. The books were very popular and quickly snapped up by our customers. "Donations like these are invaluable to British Heart Foundation. Not only do they provide great variety for shoppers and help draw shoppers in time and time again, but the money raised helps power groundbreaking research to save and improve lives. A huge thank you to David & Charles for their support."
