Stationery brand Pentel has appointed industry veteran John Cotterell to manage its sales territory from Staffordshire to the Channel Islands, encompassing south and mid-Wales, south-west England and much of the M40 corridor.
John joins Pentel following the recent retirement of long-standing Pentel territory manager Sally Evans.
With over 40 years' experience John has extensive knowledge of the stationery industry and writing instruments in particular, gained through territory and national account manager roles with Stabilo, Esselte and, latterly, Pilot.

The David and Charles in house team will oversee sales and marketing, with books being distributed through GBS. The list is being distributed on an exclusive basis in the UK and non-exclusively in export territories. The Exisle list features titles in mind, body, spirit and health and wellness categories alongside children's books under the EK Books imprint. The award-winning children's list has a particular focus on the communication and understanding of complex issues.
