Michael's Bridal Fabrics announces new website launch

Michael's Bridal Fabrics has announced the long-awaited launch of its new website, which has been in the planning stages for more than a year.

The project started with a large investment to bring the company up-to-date, replacing the internal software that was used for most of its tasks. With the software now up and running for more than six months, the business now has a database of products and customer records that has enabled it to move to the next stage, linking the website to internal programs that give clients access to individual data. As a result, customers will be able to sign in and print off account information like invoices and orders. A German and French version of the site will be available in due course, and the website will be optimised for use on mobile and tablet devices.

New features will include a search function, together with images of all colours for each product. Users will also be able to see live stock levels at the point of viewing. Prices will be available to customers with log-in access, and secure payments will be available too.
