Ben Langworthy wins Top Drawer Spotted award: Image 1 Ben Langworthy has been announced as the winner of this year's Spotted Award at Top Drawer. Ben makes vintage-inspired paper goods featuring strong colours and typography, underpinned by his belief in the special importance of handwritten notes. He draws all his designs using traditional techniques, and everything is printed in the UK.

Spotted is Top Drawer's curated showcase of innovative, market ready design-based businesses. Since its inception it has helped to launch more than 200 small companies and is now firmly established as one of the show's main attractions. All new brands accepted into the 2018 edition of Spotted were eligible to win, and entries were judged by a panel of industry experts including Annabelle Dodds, Senior Buyer at the V&A, Charlotte Abrahams, Spotted Curator and Dan Flower, Owner of AIM Brands. Entries were judged on originality and innovation, commercial viability, clarity of brand, communication of message and the overall quality of product.

Spotted was established to help emerging brands at a crucial stage in their development and the prizes reflect that mission. Ben will receive a free stand at the show and one-to-one mentoring from six industry experts.

Top Drawer will run until tomorrow, Tuesday 11th September. Go to www.topdrawer.co.uk for more details.
