From decorations to decoupage, presents to pastry, throughout November the NEC is hosting a selection of shows.
3-6 November - Crafts for Christmas, Hobbycrafts and Arts Materials Live will be offering craftspeople and hobbyists everything they need to create a handmade and personalised Christmas. With more than 200 exhibitors, the event offers a huge selection of handmade crafts for even the most difficult-to-buy-for. There will also be a Festive Food and Drink aisle with a selection of goodies and in the Prima Magazine Craft Theatre, there will be great hands-on ideas on how to add creative touches and Christmas sparkle to your home.
At Hobbycrafts more than 100 exhibitors will give visitors the chance to stock up on new products and see some of the craft associations and guilds members' best work. In addition, a ticket to Hobbycrafts gets you into Crafts for Christmas for free too.
At Art Materials Live leading professional artists will be demonstrating the very latest in arts supplies, ideas and innovations as well as providing free demonstrations.
17-20 November - the Festive Gift Fair offers visitors a massive array of inspirational and affordable Yuletide gift ideas. With a fun-filled festive atmosphere courtesy of the many musicians and entertainers, the event is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit with friends and family - and with so much to choose from there's even a `present crèche' for you to drop off your bags while you continue shopping. The fair features arts and crafts, decorations, cards and ribbons, handbags, jewellery, fashion along with gifts for cooks, gardeners, pets, babies toys and beauty products. There will also be appearances from `Ready, Steady, Cook' chefs Ainsley Harriot and Brian Turner.
23-27 November - BBC Good Food Show Winter promise to be the place to find everything you need for the perfect festive feast. There will be live demos from some of the country's favourite chefs with James Martin, Rick Stein, John Torrode and fellow Masterchef host Gregg Wallace, along with past contestants Dhruv Baker and Tim Anderson on-hand to dish out advice. There will be a Christmas Theatre offering tastes of the most mouth-watering Christmas treats and tips on how to make must-do items such as marzipan and icing, in addition to MasterChef Live and the Great British Bake Off.
If that's not enough to whet your appetite, there will be more than 400 exhibitors offering the perfect products for Christmas - from turkeys to port, whisky to chutney.
