Efco announces its support for Children's Hospice Week
Children's Hospices UK, the national charity that gives voice and support to all children's hospices, is running an inspiring art initiative called This is My Hero for Children's Hospice Week, 15th - 22th May 2010.
This is My Hero sees life-limited children and young people creating unique artworks of their heroes for an exhibition and auction at The Gallery in Cork Street, London, during Children's Hospice Week 2010. Hero masks, decorated by a number of high profile celebrities will also be auctioned at a star-studded event to help raise even more money for children's hospices.
"We are delighted that Efco have chosen to support Children's Hospices UK on this fantastic project," says Helen Hopkins, National Events and Celebrity Manager for Children's Hospices UK. "Children's hospices are made up of many heroes - children, parents and carers. Children's Hospice Week and This is My Hero is all about celebrating these inspirational people. Efco have kindly donated a wide variety of craft products from its extensive range, enabling our celebrity supporters to create unique hero masks to help raise much needed funds for children's hospices."
"Many high profile celebrities will be using our products to create masks for This Is My Hero," adds William Weill of Efco, "and we are looking forward to seeing the results of their endeavours and the auction. We are pleased to be associated with such an admirable cause and wish Children's Hospice Week the success it fully deserves."
