Show season and sore feet!
What a couple of months we've had at Craft Focus since I wrote my last editor's letter!
Messe Frankfurt kindly invited me to the trio of shows in Frankfurt at the end of January - Creativeworld, Paperworld and Christmasworld and both Tracy and I have also just come back from ICHF's Craft, Hobby + Stitch, so we've worn outs lots of shoe leather but our feet have barely touched the ground with new products and inspiration!
This issue, I have prepared 3 show reviews for you so you can decide for yourselves, which shows you need to plan to visit next year. Trade shows are a great source of inspiration but also an excellent way to network with individuals and companies within the industry. Nothing beats face-to-face contact with customers and suppliers!
Those retailers among you that offer scrapbooking, stamping and cross-stitching goods, will be delighted to read the features on the new innovative products from these crafting sectors plus product offerings for Father's day, crafting for grown-ups and hopefully the start of some creativity outdoors - weather permitting!
We also have some business counsel on keeping ahead of your competitors, why networking is a must and we also talk to 3 key wholesale companies about their business and we demystify what CHA UK is all about.
Enjoy what’s inside! |
