Jakar International Ltd, founded by Lydia Sacki in 1949, initially sold German drawing instruments and cuckoo clocks. The company is now run by the 3rd generation within the family, Paul Sacki, who joined in 1979.
They offer a range of high-quality colouring tools, Jakar drawing instruments, and various stationery, craft, and art supplies. Since 1960, Jakar has been the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for Swiss-made Caran d'Ache Colour products.
Jakar is also the UK and Ireland sole distributor for Rosa Artists Materials (watercolours, acrylics, oils) from Ukraine. Alongside this they
sell the M+R range of pencil sharpeners and rulers.
