CHSI Stitches 2022 saw a strong turnout, innovative new products from leading brands and high-profile speakers at its first post-pandemic show at the NEC in February.
The show, the first since February 2020, drew leading creative craft brands, showcasing new ranges, many of which were being displayed for the first time in person since the pandemic started.
The show saw new retailers attending the show for the first time, reflecting the growth in craft during the pandemic.
Independent retailer from Warrington, Stitch Station, was launched by Diane Hughes five months ago after lockdown. She was one of the many new businesses to attend the trade show.

The owner of British Craft Trade Fair (BCTF), Kerrison Exhibitions, is thrilled to confirm a return to the physical exhibition this April following a two-year hiatus. In light of recent developments with the surge of COVID across the world, the organizers of IHGF Delhi Fair have pushed back its dates to end of March. The show will now be held from 30th March to 3rd April 2022 at its regular venue – India Expo Centre & Mart, New Delhi NCR, India. The show's display themes and product propositions remain unchanged. Covering Home, Fashion, Lifestyle, Textiles and Furniture, this edition will welcome trade visitors to more than 2000 exhibitors in 14 halls and 900 Mart showrooms.

Thousands of retail buyers, and owners of independent stores from across the UK flocked to Spring Fair at the NEC Birmingham on Sunday as it opened its doors for the first time in two years. As the largest and longest running wholesale marketplace encompassing the very best in home, gift and fashion, the busy aisles and stands across all eight Halls showing that retailers are ready for a return to business as usual and in-person trading, with a palpable thirst for newness and desire to re-stock their stores with the latest products and innovations.

The Giftware Association visited Giving and Living down in Exeter to support the south-west regional show. The show typically kicked off the UK trade show season on the 16th January by opening up its doors to its first physical show after two years off.
Spirits were high as show life slowly returns to normal and exhibitors and buyers return to physical events across the country. The Giftware Association also had another important job at the show by choosing the 'Best Stand' and 'Best Newcomer' something which CEO Sarah Ward had the pleasure of judging at the show on opening day. The new awards were given to Pineapple Island and Metal Motif respectfully.
