Former contestants share their skills at The Great British Sewing Bee Live  demo theatre

TV's top stitchers will inspire you with exciting new sewing projects at The Great British Sewing Bee Live Demo Theatre in association with Sewing Quarter. 

Whether you're new to dressmaking or a seasoned stitcher, contestants from all four sewing bee series have something for everyone in a packed programme of live sewing projects. 

On Day One (Thursday 21st September):
Jamie Kemp introduces decorative smocking to create standout detail on your handmade garments and demonstrates 'cheats' buttonholes that mimic the look of beautiful hand sewn tailors' buttonholes, using a sewing machine.  
Lauren Guthrie is a big fan of jersey and will be sharing neat neckband techniques into jersey garments.  She'll also demonstrate how to set up a twin needle on a regular sewing machine for a professional looking finish. 
Deborah Simms 'makes ugly clothes beautiful', transforming charity shop rejects into something wearable using a variety of embroidery techniques, patching and alterations.  
Sewing Quarter presents Jenni Smith who has the lowdown on zips, both ordinary and invisible.  

On Day Two (Friday 22nd September):
Deborah and Lauren repeat their day one demonstrations while Jamie Kemp returns to share the secrets to successfully 'setting in' sleeves.  
Jade Earley shows how to perfect pattern matching to achieve a professional look and Heather Jacks demonstrates a medley of techniques to improve finishes to garments.  
Tracey Symonds makes a pleating board for easy pleats and decorative trims, and Cerina Nichamin shows how to insert invisible zips. 
Sewing Quarter presenter Natasha McCarty, will be joined by Sewing Bee Jenniffer Taylor who explains how to construct the perfect pocket.  

On Day Three (Saturday 23rd September):
Julie Gromett gives the lowdown on tweed, demonstrating how to make a tweed waistcoat with a beautiful tailored finish.  
Alex Florea has top tips on working with faux leather and will be creating a trendy asymmetric zip clutch bag with contrast faux leather panel.  
Chinelo Bally demonstrates her freehand method to draft and construct a simple fitted skirt block. 
Jenniffer Taylor re-joins Sewing Quarter presenter Natasha McCarty to repeat Day Two's perfect pocket session and also demonstrates a Blanket Gillett in a modern waterfall design. 
Lauren, Heather and Jamie revisit their previous days' sessions.  

On Day Four (Sunday 24th September):
Jade, Heather, Julie, Lauren and Jenniffer return to the Demo Theatre to repeat their earlier demonstrations while Alex shows how to attach garments without hand sewing.
