Introducing 'Trace'

Search Press is excited to introduce film and TV costume designer, Michele Carragher’s first book, Trace, which will be available later this month.Michele works as a Costume Embroiderer in the film and TV industry, and has been a part of many award-winning productions such as Game of Thrones, HBO’s Elizabeth I and The Crown. She has also worked on Nicole Kidman’s outfits for Queen of the Desert. Many of the costumes that Michele has embroidered have been exhibited in various museums around the world

Introducing 'Trace' published by Search Press Rich in symbolism and drawing inspiration from throughout history, the book contains three embroidered artefacts - a lavish glove, jewelled bodice and Japanese-style hair pin. An immersive, beautifully photographed gallery of all the pieces showcases Michele's work in incredible detail.

The book also features a selection of images from her inspiring catalogue of work including details from a number of GoT's exquisite outfits. Michele's work is original and refreshing, and explores themes of human duality and our behavioural effects on society and the planet.
