Those involved in the project make quilts, many from Liberty fabric, for children that need them most. Each year, the company chooses an SOS Children's Village and delivers beautiful handmade quilts to youngsters living in this location. The charity provides homes for orphaned or displaced children, who are looked after in homes within the village. There are locations in 125 countries, ensuring that children grow up in a loving family home where they can flourish and reach their full potential.
"We must really thank our lovely customers as they are the people who have spent hours and hours making beautiful quilts," explains Alice Caroline Garrett, the inspiration behind the project. "It's wonderful to see the faces of the children as they marvel at the sight. Many of these children have had to overcome difficulties that we can barely understand and to give such a beautiful gift feels like a wonderful thing."
The project will be running again in 2020. Find out more at www.alicecaroline.com
