MICHAEL'S BRIDAL FABRICS
Michael's Bridal Fabrics' main focus for 2022 is to introduce more eco-friendly fabrics into its collection. These are made up of articles with recycled yarns, which include a polyester duchess satin which is available in Shell Pink and Dusky Rose as well as PaleIvory. There are some qualities with organic cotton and some which are produced from naturel products like, milk, bamboo, corn, rose petals and eucalyptus. At present, many eco articles are only available in natural colours without dyeing, making them even more eco-friendly. One of the French laces is a design the company has run for many years, but it now uses organic cotton and the viscose content is made from wood pulp where the trees are replaced. The design also features four new colours. Michael's is also planning to replace the base fabric on some of its embroidered tulles with a recycled quality, and the embroidery thread will also beable to be made using recycled yarn. On non eco fabrics, the company has recently introduced two of its best-selling colours of Duck Egg and Dusky Rose into its stretch duchess satin, and a heavy, but very soft double-faced satin in three colours.
