Crafter's Companion now employs 200

Crafter's Companion is celebrating a successful first half of 2019 by hitting the 200 staff mark. This year, the company has employed a total of 28 people across its marketing, TV, trade, warehouse and product development teams, as well as in its retail stores. The business has also invested in developing its UK, US and new EU commerce websites, video-selling platforms and in-house TV studio.

"At the beginning of the year, we announced that our US team was moving to a larger head office space because it had outgrown its premises ahead of time," says Sara Davies, MBE, the company's founder. "We've also experienced outstanding growth here in the UK. Therefore, our recruitment strategy to support the company has become integral to our ongoing evolution. We have been expanding our team on a global scale and the calibre of staff that we have is phenomenal. As an employer, I am so proud that we are able to continue to recruit so many amazing people who believe in the company and are actively invested in its vision to create inspirational, educational products for craft enthusiasts everywhere. Three years ago, we announced that we had hit the 100 staff mark and the fact that we now have double that amount in such a short space of time is overwhelming but absolutely fantastic."
