HarperCollins acquires Pavilion Books Company

Following HarperCollins announcement on 29th October of its intention to acquire Pavilion Books Company Limited the company can now confirm that the acquisition is now complete.

Imprints Collins & Brown, Pavilion, Portico, Robson, National Trust and Pavilion Children’s have now transferred to HarperCollins. The Batsford and Pitkin imprints have been retained by owner and publisher Polly Powell as B.T. Batsford, which remains a stand-alone privately-owned business. Pavilion’s adult non-fiction publishing joins HQ and Mills & Boon as Pavilion, National Trust publishing joins Collins Learning while the children’s list is now part of Farshore.
