Creatives are invited to immerse themselves in an imaginative weekend jam-packed with live festive craft workshops and inspiration, as The Handmade Festival Online returns next week. Taking place virtually from Friday 27th – Sunday 29th November, The Handmade Festival Online is offering crafters of all abilities the chance to celebrate all things handmade and get hands-on to learn new skills or hone existing talents, all from the comfort of their own home. The three-day festive-themed programme includes live workshops with creative experts, as well as Q&As with inspirational speakers, where guests can ask burning questions, as well as discover tips, tricks, new skills and inspiration from much-loved experts.

Crafting from home with The Handmade Festival The hands-on, craft-along workshops will take place on Zoom and are suitable for all levels and abilities. From how to create a ceramic and needle felt robin bauble, set of Christmas crackers and wrap the perfect present, to festive-themed brush lettering, origami and arm crochet workshops, there truly is something for everybody. Sessions also include the chance to discover how to make delicious Christmas cocktails and homemade snow displays, alongside Christmas cards, gift tags and wrapping paper using block printing.

Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the virtual Shopping Village, where they can discover the finest tools and materials, beautiful handmade products from hand-picked independent makers and designers, as well as indulgent treats. What's more, every small business in the Shopping Village will be offering exclusive discounts across the three-day virtual event, so creatives can stock up for less on handmade gifts for themselves or loved ones this Christmas.

Georgina Krstic, show manager at Brand Events, said: "Christmas is the perfect opportunity for crafters and lovers of all things handmade to create their own presents, home decorations, cards and gift tags, so The Handmade Festival Online will provide a weekend of festive workshops and inspiration for the most wonderful time of the year.
"Whether you consider yourself a beginner or an expert creative, there truly is something for everybody to enjoy at this year's Festival, from the comfort of your own home." Workshop and talk sessions cost just £8.50 each and just a few materials and pieces of equipment from home are required, not included within the ticket price.
