This issue has a fabulous feature on the mega trend: wreaths! Not just for Christmas, home owners and store owners are decorating their entrances with Halloween themes, spring and easter wreaths and of course festive designs. We can’t get enough of them and have dedicated three pages for the trend! Followed closely by another four pages of our festive finds – either to make and gift or to make and proudly display. There’s a huge focus on sewing & stitching, embroidery & tapestry and art supplies not to mention our brand spanking new section – brimming with exciting new products.

| Captain Sir Tom Moore inspires donation of £60,000 by Bachmann Europe |

On Thursday 9th September 2021, Bachmann Europe visited the GB Railfreight/EMD Roberts Road Rail Maintenance Depot in Doncaster where Class 66 No. 66731 'Capt. Tom Moore' was in residence. Earlier this year the Bachmann Collectors Club released its Pride of Britain Train Pack, celebrating the astonishing fundraising achievements of Captain Sir Tom Moore and honouring the outstanding efforts of the NHS and all key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. During the visit Bachmann presented a cheque for £60,000 which will be donated to NHS Charities Together, and a presentation was conducted by Keith Thomas, Financial Controller for Bachmann Europe Plc and Paul Matthews, Head of Locomotives for GB Railfreight.

| Pentel launches new plastic-free packaging |

As it prepares for the London Stationery Show, Pentel is replacing all its key blister cards with a range of plastic-free packaging made from 100 per cent recyclable cardboard.The new hanging packs combine high impact appearance, with excellent product visibility and are the result of extensive planning and research.Pentel Marketing Manager Wendy Vickery explained, "Moving away from conventional blister cards, with their single-use plastic, is the right thing to do for the environment, but it's not without its challenges. The obvious benefit of the plastic bubble is that it affords full product visibility to the consumer, which is a real advantage in those precious few seconds at the point of sale."
