HarperCollins acquires Pavilion Books Company |
|
Following HarperCollins announcement on 29th October of its intention to acquire Pavilion Books Company Limited the company can now confirm that the acquisition is now complete. Imprints Collins & Brown, Pavilion, Portico, Robson, National Trust and Pavilion Children's have now transferred to HarperCollins. The Batsford and Pitkin imprints have been retained by owner and publisher Polly Powell as B.T. Batsford, which remains a stand-alone privately-owned business. Pavilion's adult non-fiction publishing joins HQ and Mills & Boon as Pavilion, National Trust publishing joins Collins Learning while the children's list is now part of Farshore.
