Sheena Douglass returns to Crafter's Companion |

The Queen of messy crafting, Sheena Douglass, is returning to Crafter's Companion. Having studied art in the UK and in California, Sheena has decades of experience in the art and crafts industry and began experimenting with different mediums from a very young age. Best known as an artist, designer and educator, Sheena has spent years drawing and creating realistic stamps, dies, stencils and embossing folders, while sharing her knowledge with crafters across the world. The renowned crafter has recently been presenting, creating new stamping products and creating content for her engaged online craft community across her social media platforms.

Specialist Consumer Publisher of the Year |

Devon based David & Charles bring home industry award again for 2023. David & Charles, the independent publishing house, started in Newton Abbot in 1960 now based in Exeter, have returned once more with 'Specialist Consumer Publisher of the Year'. The Independent Publishers Guild awards were held on March 22nd at London's OXO Tower and brings publishers from across the country together to celebrate their success throughout the industry.

Quirky textiles from Poppy Treffry |
|
The company was first started in 2004 in a tiny attic space in Newlyn, Cornwall. Initially it was just Poppy and one very old Singer sewing machine which she used to develop a technique called Freehand Machine Embroidery. Her first collection featured tea cosies, cushions and textile pots drawn in stitch with imagery taken direct from her sketches of fishing boats, cottages and flowers.
