The event brought together suppliers, brands, retailers and influencers from across the UK for two packed days in the middle of National Stationery Week. Exhibitors and attendees reported a successful show, with organiser Hazel Fieldwick describing the fair as stimulating and positive. New for this year, the Stationery Trends Hub moved to the centre of the venue, with the location proving popular with visitors. Trend forecasters Scarlet Opus researched and curated the display, offering tours and presentations throughout the event. The agency’s staff were kept busy over both days, sharing information on consumer and design trends for Christmas 2019, as well as looking ahead to spring and summer 2020. This information will be used by suppliers to aid and inspire product development and by retailers to develop merchandise that will attract customers and maintain interest in the sector.
