51 COMPANY PROFILE FIGURED’ART Helen.cottrill@figuredart.com +44 (0)7852 590 115 https://b2b.figuredart.co.uk order value is just £130, with free carriage on orders over £250, and retailers can mix products across any of our categories to create a varied and appealing selection. For our UK retail partners, we also support the range with delivery within two to four days from our UK warehouse and no minimum order quantity per design, which means retailers can build their ranges gradually and see what works best for their customers. It’s also a great way to introduce categories such as Book Nooks, which historically haven’t always been easy for independent retailers to source. To help bring the concept to life in store, we also provide a free display model with an opening order of £250. Another important point is not to assume you know the demographic for craft. The 14+ category is growing rapidly and really appeals across all ages and customer groups. Crafting has become a creative, mindful activity that people are proud to give as gifts as well as enjoy themselves — in many ways, craft is now cool again. Opening an account with us is straightforward. Retailers can either complete a simple account form or register online, and ordering can be done however suits them best — through one of our experienced agents, directly by email, or online. What sets you apart from competitors? What really sets Figured’Art apart is the diversity of craft formats we offer and the consistent quality of the materials we use in every kit. We work hard to ensure that each product is a genuinely enjoyable experience from start to finish, and we always supply more than enough components to complete the project, which is something customers really appreciate. Design is also incredibly important to us. Our aim is not just to provide a craft activity, but to help people create beautiful, display-worthy finished pieces that they feel proud to show in their homes or give as gifts. From a retail perspective, we also make the category very accessible. Our opening and repeat order values are deliberately affordable, making it easy for retailers to introduce the range and build it gradually. Alongside that, we pride ourselves on being easy to work with, supported by a strong team and a responsive network across Europe and the UK. Do you visit any trade shows? Do you plan to visit any soon? We’ll be exhibiting at the INDX Gift Edit on 19th May, where we’ll be presenting a selection of our key ranges. We’ll also be exhibiting at the Harrogate Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival from 19th to 22nd July, where you can find us in Hall B, Stand C25. At the show we’ll be showcasing several new designs and formats, including some exciting additions to the range. What are you looking forward to most over the next year? What I’m most looking forward to over the next year is continuing to build the brand in the UK. For me personally, it’s exciting to be working with a family-owned company where the owners are young, passionate and very forward-thinking. There’s a real energy within the business and a genuine desire to keep innovating and growing. The early signs in the UK are already very encouraging, with new accounts opening and first stock deliveries now arriving in stores. I’m also currently in discussions with several licensors with a view to developing licensed collections aimed at the 14+ craft market, which is an exciting area for growth. I’m particularly looking forward to getting back to trade fairs, meeting retailers face-to-face and talking to people about the brand and the products. There’s nothing quite like seeing the reaction when people discover the range in person. I truly believe the potential for Figured’Art in the UK market is huge, and I’m very much looking forward to being part of that journey. What new products can we expect from you in the future? There’s a huge amount in development now, so it’s a very exciting time for the brand. We’ll be introducing more Book Nook designs, expanding our Mini-Series formats into Paint by Numbers, and launching Diamond Painting on wooden slices, building on the success of our Paint by Numbers wooden slice collection. We’re also working on more UK-centric designs, which we know many retailers are keen to see. In addition, we can offer custom designs with relatively low MOQs, which opens great opportunities for retailers or partners looking for something a little more exclusive. We already have a couple of these projects in the pipeline. What’s particularly exciting for us is that we are also launching our first licensed collections, starting with Warner Bros. properties, alongside a beautiful French licensed range inspired by the Moulin Rouge! These collections will of course also be available to UK retailers, and we are exploring additional licensing opportunities as well.
