In order to hold their own at the competitive point of sale, bricks-and-mortar stores will be encouraged to win new customers with conceptual shopping experiences. “With ‘upgrade your store’, we aim to show how specialist retailers can integrate the subject of street art and reach new target groups,” explains Michael. There will be an Urban Art Lab with Carlos Lorente, CEO and Coach of Style Scouts – Graffiti Akademie. The event will draw attention to the history and future development of the medium and will include an activity area with a large graffiti wall covered with different surface materials that represent the diversity of this burgeoning trend. This year’s Creativeworld Forum will be held in Hall 4.2, with workshops and product demonstrations planned for all four days of the event. “Our varied and interesting workshop programme is a veritable magnet for trade visitors,” Michael continues. “Numerous manufacturers use the Creativeworld Forum to present their latest products andinnovations.” The Forum will also play host to the Creative Impulse Awards for 2019. From November, manufacturers can enter their products for a coveted prize in one of four separate categories: creative product, creative tool, complete set and creative book of the year. All entries will be on show at a special exhibition throughout the fair. This year’s Creativeworld Trends will be on display in Hall 4.1.
