Creativeworld will return to Frankfurt in January. Find out what’s coming up at this year’s show Taking place from 26 th -29 th January 2019, the next edition of Creativeworld will feature an impressive range of new products and a packed programme of events. Organised once again by Messe Frankfurt, the show promises to be a business platform, ordering fair, innovation forge and trend barometer rolled into one, with design inspiration for crafters of all ages. “Creativity is booming and so will Creativeworld,” enthuses Michael Reichhold, show director. “In 2019, it will once again do justice to its role as the biggest and most international platform for the sector. Over 300 companies from all over the world have already registered as exhibitors. This includes numerous manufacturers of proprietary products and many newcomers. With their portfolios of brand-name products, our exhibitors serve all major DIY segments.” Each year, the show attracts more than 9,250 trade visitors, with 67 per cent of last year’s attendees travelling from outside Germany. Top decision makers will attend from the wholesale, retail and specialist trades, including garden centres, international retailers, mail order companies and other commercial users. WHO’S WHO Craft and hobby specialists attending will include Creativ Company, Sissix-Ellison Europe and the German manufacturers Buntpapierfabrik Ludwig Bähr, Eberhard Faber and Staedtler. New for this year, Robert Bosch AG and its subsidiary Dremel will present a large range of tools that can be used for turning, milling and cutting. Companies representing art and graphic art will include Royal Talens, Pebeo, Clairefontaine and Lascaux, as well as Art Select, Edding, Marabu, Lyra, C.Kreul and H.Schmincke. For the street art sector, Montana Cans, Montana Colors, NBQ and Feuerstein GmbH will also unveil a selection of paints and other materials. Across decorative handicrafts, registrations have already been received from Artemio, Efo Creative and Glorex. Products will include ribbons, edging and decorative goods, florists’ materials and gift wrap. Other companies on hand will include Rayher Hobby, Rico Design, Max Bringmann and Hobbygross Erler. MEET YOUR MATCH New for this year, the Creativeworld Business Matchmaking Programme allows exhibitors and visitors with common interests to make contact before the fair begins. The service is free of charge and available from November 2018.
