| London Stationery Show moves to October 2021 |

With the UK's vaccination programme well underway, and the Government due to announce a roadmap for easing restrictions next week, exhibitions are expected to resume over the summer. "We understand that it will take some time for retail to recover from the recent lockdown" commented event director, Alex Butler. "We believe that the October dates will allow for a successful show for visitors and exhibitors alike. We're very grateful for the support of the industry and are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Business Design Centre in October when we can finally meet and do business once again."

| Relief for Retailers |
| |
Following a year in which the retail industry has been one of the hardest hit sectors by the Coronavirus pandemic, there was some welcome relief on March 3rd when the Chancellor's widely previewed budget was announced. It includes a package of measures to help retailers to get back on their feet once non-essential retail reopens on 12th April, 2021 under the government's planned roadmap. Gavin Matthews, partner and head of retail & consumer at law firm Womble Bond Dickinson comments on the relief expected for retailers.

| The Hahnemühle Calendar Competition is now open |

The theme and call for entries is eagerly awaited by the international artist community every year. For more than 10 years, the competition has regularly attracted several thousand paintings from all over the world – paintings, drawings, collages or traditional prints. "For 2022, we would like to have an art calendar full of positive energy. In 12 monthly pictures we simply want to spread pure joy and happiness. So this year's theme of our painting competition is 'Joy & Happiness'" says Barbara Knipper, the organiser of the annual calendar competition at Hahnemühle.
