June/July 2022

Despite the chaotic world we are living in, we can always come back to craft to keep calm and carry on. We hope you enjoyed the four-day celebrations for Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at the start of the month. What a wonderful way to kickstart summer. I certainly enjoyed stringing up some handmade bunting and spending time with friends and family with a Pimm’s in hand. What an occasion! It was lovely to see so many of you at The London Stationery Show. We hope you had a good show and have some lovely creative selections for a productive Q3 and Q4.

Enjoy the issue, there’s certainly enough inspiration for customers to be busy all summer long!

New trade show - The Knit Show

UK Hand Knitting has announced a new trade show, The Knit Show, which will be held at The Pavilions of Harrogate on the 3rd and 4th of September 2022. Even before Covid, exhibitions had become a little formulaic, less inspiring than they should have been and held in venues that lack personality and cost the earth. The members at UK Hand Knitting feel it is time to change things with an event that will not be your normal show, but something significant to inspire, motivate and most of all enjoy.
