Summer’s here and the time is right ... for crafting in the street! Well, maybe in the garden! Everyone at Craft Focus HQ is absolutely loving the warmer weather! Our ‘Endless Summer’ feature was a no-brainer. Warm colours, sunset prints and feel-good patterns – we’re soaking it all up before July comes and with it, the sound of sleigh bells. Another trend feature you may have spotted is ‘Celestial Crafts’, for those who love stars, moons and a touch of astrology, this is for you! And, as a Sagittarius, it’s right up my street!
The Business Design Centre was buzzing for the London Stationery Show and it was great to see clients, old and new, London certainly was the place to be! Supporting young crafters and budding artists, we have our Children’s Crafts feature as well as our Back to School feature to assist their studies with a stellar offering of trendy and practical stationery supplies.
Our other jam-packed features include Crafts under £15 - for those giftworthy purchases, as well as haberdashery essentials in our ‘Ribbons & Buttons’ section and not forgetting all the latest industry news and trade show reports. Lastly, please shout if there’s anything you’d like to see in the magazine. We love to hear from our readers. Enjoy the warmer days ahead and keep on crafting!

| Historic trade deal with India signed |

Businesses and workers in the East of England are set to benefit from the UK's trade deal with India as new analysis shows the landmark agreement will deliver a £190 million boost for the local economy as part of the Plan for Change. Both Prime Ministers met yesterday morning for the signing of the landmark UK-India trade deal as new analysis reveals communities across every region of the UK will benefit from its £4.8 billion increase to UK GDP each year. It comes as a series of investment and export wins have been confirmed by UK and Indian businesses, representing an overall boost of nearly £6 billion and creating over 2,200 jobs.

| WOVEN 2025 wraps up a month of community creativity |

WOVEN 2025 has come to a close after a month of community-driven textile events. This year's festival, which took place throughout June, saw more than 120 events from community organisations, venues, local artists, schools and the textile industry, collaboratively coming together to celebrate the district's rich textile history and contemporary scene. The creative event was enjoyed by more than 12,000 visitors.

| London Packaging Week prepares to launch its most ambitious show yet |

Momentum is building for London Packaging Week 2025. Taking place on 15 & 16 October at Excel London, this landmark 15th anniversary show is set to be the most forward-thinking and creatively charged in the show's history.
First launched in 2010 as Packaging Innovations & Luxury Packaging London, the show has evolved into a leading platform for design, materials, technology, and sustainability.
