CHSI Stitches organiser, ICHF Events Ltd, has announced unprecedented demand for stand space for the trade show at the NEC, Birmingham in February next year. With more than 200 companies already booked in to exhibit at the show in its 41st year, and still six months away, more than 230 exhibitors are expected to fill the show.
Adam Elkins, Sales and New Business at ICHF Events said: “Stand space for CHSI Stitches 2016 has sold in record time. We still have months before the show but we're approaching sell out already which is excellent news for the industry and the retailers visiting the event.”
Companies taking larger stand space at the 2016 trade show include Visage Textiles and The Craft Cotton Company, Creativ Company from Denmark, Via Nova International from Netherlands and the John Bead Corporation from USA. Adam Elkins comments, “There are a few stands remaining for next year's show but stand space is already at a premium due to so many companies expanding their exhibition stands and bringing in new brands. We're expecting the show to grow due to the high demand for space.”
Fernando DaSilva, John Bead Creative Director, explains, “Over the last four years, CHSI has helped us to understand and service the DIY industry in UK and Europe. The show is an industry indicator that provides us insights on new lines to develop to expand our business abroad. With more than 65000 products in our catalogue it has been always a challenge to select what to bring to the show. At CHSI Stitches in 2016 we'll proudly launch a product line inspired by the world traveller called Global Chic. We'll also showcase stunning new Czech glass beads to please our eager-to-bead clientele in UK.”
Visitors can register in advance for CHSI Stitches from 3rd September. All trade visitors registered in advance of the show are entered into a prize draw held each day of the show to win £1000 to spend on supplies with exhibitors at or after the show. CHSI Stitches, which changed its name to incorporate its widely recognised original title, has also launched a new look website to celebrate its 40th year in 2015.
Alongside exhibitors showcasing the latest trends and products, CHSI Stitches presents a Catwalk show bringing new fabric, bead and yarn collections to life, as well as the popular Bright Sparks Pavilion which hosts the best up-and-coming products from trend-setting new start-up companies. Free workshops giving retailers hands-on experience and skills with new products also run throughout the event covering all areas of the creative craft industry.
