Inspiration from Paperworld

Paperworld welcomes exhibitors and visitors from all over the world in Frankfurt am Main at the beginning of this new business year. The international trade fair for the paper, office supplies and stationery industry brings together new products and current trends with an extensive complementary programme.

I's the platform where the sector meets up to exchange ideas and experiences and to find inspiration. "It is the mix of internationality, variety of products, business matching and complementary programme that makes Paperworld so very unique," says Michael Reichhold, Paperworld's Director.

Internationality and variety of products are factors for success
Over 1,600 international exhibitors are expected to attend – the degree of international participation and the consequent variety of products are factors with which Paperworld scores highly, for nowhere else in the world is a range of this depth and breadth to be found.

As far as the exhibitors are concerned, around 80 percent come from abroad; for trade visitors the figure is 62 percent.

Johannes Peter Martin, from the paper, stationery and office equipment suppliers Kaut-Bullinger & Co, is one of those who set great store by the variety of their products: "For me, I need Paperworld to bring together all the major segments of the national and international paper, office supplies and stationery industry, so as to give me a good overview of the developments in the sector. I come to Paperworld, because I think it is good and important for us to have the largest international paper, office supplies and stationery trade fair here in Germany and important, too, that it is kept in Germany." As far as Ulf Ohlmer, from the drop-shipping company bueroboss.de/kassebeer from Northeim, is concerned, it is the innovative new products that are the most important aspect of his visit to Paperworld. "For me, Paperworld is the most important of the sector's platforms, because I can find out about the new ranges of products here that are key for the development of my business – and I meet cooperation partners, too."

Trend platform and source of inspiration for trade visitors
The focus of a visit to the show is different for every visitor: some take advantage of the specialist lectures as opportunities for further professional development, others come to find out about ancillary product ranges or to make contact with young start-up companies. In addition, Paperworld is an important rendezvous and somewhere to get a feel for the upcoming season's trends first hand. This is something that Claudia Leimert, from specialist office suppliers Mattheus in Kassel, is well aware of: "I go to Paperworld because I want to find out about the latest trends at the very beginning of the year." The compactly presented collections of products provide the trade with a showcase for all the new products from the various segments of the paper, office supplies and stationery industry. I specifically look for information on the offers of high-quality pens and stationery products. That means I get to see all the new products for my retail shop and am able to make some important contacts," says Sabine Heindl from 'Schreibzeug' in Amberg. As well as the displays by international exhibitors, the special shows at Paperworld also offer a comprehensive overview of current trends. Something that Barbara Knoblauch from office suppliers 'Knoblauch' from Heidelberg particularly appreciates: "I get home from Paperworld with a whole bundle of ideas, inspirations and new products in our sector. And every time, I really look forward to creating a sales setting using them all with my staff."

More than 1,600 international exhibitors will be showcasing their products at Paperworld over nine Halls from 25 to 28 January 2014. The varied range of products addresses the needs of small specialist retailers, wholesalers and drop-shipping companies alike and ensures a successful start for the new business year.
