Department store Heal's is collaborating with a host of creative women this September, as part of the London Design Festival. The new exhibition, Spaces, will feature participants curating their own creative spaces in the windows of the retailer's flagship store in Tottenham Court Road.
Female creatives taking part include colour expert and artist, Annie Sloan, and jewellery designer Jacqueline Rabun, as well as cookery teacher Melissa Hemsley, and Jessie Burton, author of The Miniaturist. Each of the women will construct a space that inspires them. “This is an ambitious project for us, but one we are hugely excited about,” says Ruth Cotterell, Head of Marketing at Heal's. “Forward-thinking design has always been at the heart of what we do and we're excited to be able to celebrate creativity in all its forms.”
Heal's will also be hosting a number of creative events as part of the London Design Festival. Spaces will be in-store from 11th-23rd September. Go to www.heals.com/spaces for more information.
