Craft lovers are invited to join Kirstie Allsopp at Heal's on Tottenham Court Road for an evening of conversation on Thursday 5th July. Curated by The Telegraph's Claire Cohen, the event will take place between 6:30pm and 8pm, and will see the host of the popular Handmade Fair in conversation with Hannah Thistlethwaite, Senior Home Buyer at Heal's. The pair will discuss the vital role of craft in the world of interiors.
Visitors will be able to pick up expert tips on how craft can be used to create a personalised space, and the talk will also explore the role of craftsmanship in contemporary design.
Sparkling wine and elderflower will be served throughout, and attendees will receive a complimentary standard entry ticket to the Handmade Fair at Hampton Court Palace from 14th to 16th September.
“Heal's has long been the spiritual home of design on Tottenham Court Road. It's the epicentre of London's furniture scene – and what better place to learn more about how immensely beneficial craft can be in our lives, homes and the furniture and homeware industry as a whole. Whether people are looking to add the finishing touch to their design scheme, considering taking up a new skill or simply learning more about craft, we know they'll leave feeling inspired to make their homes and lives even more beautiful.” Tickets are available at www.heals.com/events, priced at £15.
This year's Handmade Fair will feature a programme of Q&As and demonstrations from some of the country's best-known makers, as well as a series of workshops where visitors can learn new skills, and share tips and tricks with like-minded creatives.
