Craft Focus - April/May 2023 (Issue 96)

49 PROFILE of weeks. We do review our range twice a year, when we launch our catalogue in spring and autumn. How would you advise a retailer who is interested in stocking your products? We’re always happy to advise new retailers on our best sellers and how many lines would look best in their shop. We always provide free kits for them to make as samples; this is a great way to show customers what can be made with the kits and to be able to talk about the process and the quality. Our retailers love displaying the madeup samples and it’s always a great way to start a conversation with the customers. What sets you apart from your competitors? The quality of the materials we use, the softness of the felt and the unique colours we use. All designs are truly original and instantly recognisable. We’re very proud to work with UK suppliers and to keep the production of our kits in the UK. Our boxes are eco friendly as they’re recyclable, re-usable and compostable. Do you visit any trade shows? Do you plan to visit any soon? We used to attend five or six shows a year but found that the need to do so had decreased with the development of online wholesale platforms. You can find us on Faire: ( We do exhibit at Top Drawer in the autumn and are currently looking at US shows. What are you looking forward to most over the next year? Once we’ve moved the production and fulfilment to a third party, we’re looking forward to developing our presence in the US, Australia and Japan, hopefully with many visits. What new products can we expect from you in the future? We’re about to launch a whole new range of printed embroidery kits, something I’ve wanted to do for a few years now. I’m very excited to finally be able to do it as my head is full of beautiful designs that need to come to life. CORINNE LAPIERRE +44 (0)1132 460 403
