68 WHAT’S THE STORY...? Roz Nazerian Co-founder & Creative Director of Storigraphic chats to Craft Focus about her independent design studio and sustainable-brand she started up with her life-long best friend, Nic Tell us a little bit about the company. Where are you based? When did the company start? We’re an independent design studio and sustainable brand based in Cambridge and London. Launched in 2020, our vision was to bring design home, to boldly transform the everyday — by producing exclusively designed, sustainably-led and UK manufactured products, accessible to everyone. Our inspirations include pop culture, mid-century design, art history, fashion, nature, heritage, empowerment and modern architecture. We love to infuse our graphic design heritage with colour intensity and storytelling into each of our design collections, across paperware, gifts and our newest dedicated ranges for homeware and kids. We’re just entering our third year of trading and much has changed since the early days. We’re still refining our brand style, positioning, design collections and products, and I think we’ll always continue evolving as the company and brand develops. Talk us through the current designs you’re particularly excited about. Do you have a favourite? We’re excited about how our Seventies Series is expanding out to the new Boho Colour Editions ranges. We love all our mid-century inspired collections, it’s a real passion! Talk to us about any collaborations. We’ve just launched an exciting paperware collab with celebrated British heritage design brand, Hornsea®. Nic and I have loved Hornsea Pottery since stumbling across two original ‘Heirloom’ pieces as students in the mid-90s. When the opportunity of working with their
