Author of 12 craft books and founder of the Sewyeah Social Club, Christine Leech, will share with audiences the power of craft for wellbeing, taking a sustainability first approach and how community projects can engage customers and build audiences. Social media master Andrew Davis offers practical advice on creating social media content, algorithms and keeping followers engaged while sustainable craft author and influencer, Emma FriedlanderCollins, from Steel & Stitch, talks repair, recycling and connecting with digital communities. Campfire sessions Following on from their main presentation in the Insights Hub, each of the speakers are also hosting their own Campfire Sessions for more focused conversation, group discussion and peer learning. Providing the creative craft industry with a trends update, market research specialist Linda Jones will explain the findings from the report and their impact on businesses. This year’s report explores the ‘Conscious Crafter’, a multi-faceted audience, and highlights opportunities for the trade to better engage with them, as well as providing valued updates on key trend data such as spending, hierarchy of crafts and audience growth and profile.
