The fact that the show has sold out already and 89 per cent of exhibition space has been booked by returnees after a successful 2022 showcase, following the hiatus in 2021, speaks volumes as to the strength of the toy industry and the importance of the fair to participants. We recognise the continued challenges the industry is facing and are thankful to all our exhibitors for the continued support. We look forward to working with exhibitors and supporting them in the run up to the event and making Toy Fair 2023 a show to remember!” Follow Toy Fair on Instagram and Twitter @toyfairuk for more updates. Stephens Convention & Conference Center in Rosemont. “After carefully listening to our audience, we’ve decided to extend our event to three full show days and to include hobby, arts and crafts supplies to the existing handicraft category. We strongly believe that retailers, crafters and makers will profit from this unified platform that inspires DIY activities and provides a starting point for the new ordering season,” said Mette Petersen, President, and Managing Director of Koelnmesse Inc. “Rosemont was actually one of the first exhibiting centers in the US that offered Crafting shows in the ’80s, so in a way, we are going full circle by bringing that segment back next year. The new categories will range from materials for painting, gluing, modeling, kneading, and decorating to high-quality papers and paints, easels, brushes, and graphics accessories. Our guiding principle is to provide a valuable and meaningful event for buyers and sellers on the show floor and in our conference rooms. We also aim to integrate the entire creative DIY community under one roof,” added Darrin Stern, Show Manager of h+h americas. h+h americas will again create various steering committees for planning the next event and is looking for creative minds from the industry to represent their views.
