Craft Focus - August/September 2022 (Issue 92)

10 Yarnstravaganza 2022 There’s a new event on the horizon for knitters and crocheters this year. From 17th to 24th September 2022, UK Hand Knitting are launching a Yarnstravaganza, a nationwide campaign to encourage crafters to visit and enjoy the benefits of their local yarn shop (LYS). We all love to visit a yarn shop for advice, to squidge some yarn or simply to be with like-minded people. Where would we be without them? UK Hand Knitting is calling on all crafters to show their love this autumn. There will be lots going on in store with hundreds of special events, goodies, limited edition commemorative project bags and enamel pins up for grabs. UK Hand Knitting has created a special map on its website to make it super-easy for crafters to find their nearest participating yarn shop, so make sure you check out what’s happening at your local shop. Save the date and get ready to join in the fun.
