Craft Focus - February / March 2021 (Issue 83)

24 Postponement of FABRIC DAYS Fabric Days trade fair that usually takes place in Munich has been postponed until March 2021. “If we look realistically at the next few weeks with the knowledge and experience gained over the past months, the date for Fabric Days from 26 th -28 th January, 2021 is no longer justifiable for our exhibitors, visitors and for all contributors. Based on these facts, we feel obliged to postpone Fabric Days by five weeks until 2 nd -4 th March, 2021.” Sebastian Klinder, managing director Munich Fabric Start commented. The first feedback from the exhibitors regarding the new date is understanding and positive. This underlines the very good response to Fabric Days and the trust in the organisers. The need of the industry for a physical event in Munich is still high. Around 300 international suppliers are expected to present their material developments for spring/summer 2022. At its core, retail is an industry all about people, passion and connection. These are elements that the longstanding event teams and I will continue to harness as we evolve our offering even further, creating new opportunities for success through both live events and exciting new virtual outputs.
