The illustrated storybook that accompanies the kits is written by the established author Elizabeth Darrell. Illustrations for the book are painted by Richard Maes. The concept of the book and kit is to enable children to interact with the story using the crochet animals. The storybook is also available separately and includes the four crochet patterns. The second storybook and kit Joseph Goes Fly Fishing will be released at the end of March. Knitted kits with the storybook will also be available soon.
