28  TOP DRAWER LIVE DESIGN CAMPAIGN UNVEILED Top Drawer’s spring/summer edition will be making a bold start to 2020 with its new Live Design campaign. The initiative aims to highlight the sharing of ideas and experiences at the show. “Passion for design is at the very heart of our DNA and is shared by everyone who is part of Top Drawer, from retailers, exhibitors and designers to our curators, speakers and organising team,” says show director Alejandra Campos. “The 2020 Live Design campaign captures both the individuality and togetherness of this community and celebrates its love and passion for innovation and creativity. Toy Fair 2020 sold out Exhibition space for Toy Fair 2020 has sold out. Organised by The British Toy and Hobby Association (BTHA), the 67 th event will take place from 21 st -23 rd January at Olympia, London. “We’re delighted to announce that Toy Fair has once again sold out,” says Majen Immink, director of fairs and special events. “This wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of the UK toy industry, who I’m sure will make next year’s fair one to remember.” The event will host more than 260 exhibitors including LEGO, Hasbro, Bandai, Character Options, Funko, Orchard Toys, Vivid Toy Group, Roma, Wicked Vision Ltd, Halilit and Brainstorm Ltd. New features will include an influencer day to support the growing number of YouTube stars and bloggers producing toy- related content. “As the media landscape continues to change it’s important that Toy Fair reflects that change,” continues Majen. “Our goal is to offer exhibitors ways to connect with creators and audiences. The event will take place in Frankfurt from 25 th -28 th January. “What makes Paperworld so special is the mix of well-known manufacturers and new market participants, some of whom are presenting themselves and their products for the first time at an international trade fair,” explains show director Michael Reichhold. “In addition, Paperworld has a highly impressive international profile, accounting for some 80 per cent of exhibitors at the fair.
