In the Decoration Unlimited centrepiece, the atmosphere will be stormy, with a theme of ‘dark ocean’. The rough elements of the sea will influence the show, surrounded by an imposing selection of festive decorations. What are the key trends for 2020? At Christmasworld, the motto will be ‘family matters’. The emphasis will be on personal relationships, as well as enjoying yourself, celebrating festivals and sharing wonderful moments. The focus at Creativeworld will be on individuality, with the strapline ‘work in progress’. Trial and experiment, together with mixed media techniques will be at the forefront of the show. At Paperworld it will be plain that digitalisation is driving the trend. Whether consumers are in the office or on the move, there will be demand for cutting edge products. Over the coming season, we’ll also see more sustainable materials, from which chic accessories will be designed. Tell us about the educational events on offer. At Creativeworld there will be a host of workshops and product presentations showcasing the latest materials and techniques. The well-established Forum will take place under its new name, Creativeworld Academy. A range of smart solutions will be on display in Paperworld’s Future Office section. Questions on topics such as the possibilities of digital networking will be answered through a series of talks aimed at architects, planners, facility managers and retailers. The Future Learning incentive area will be starting its second series. Visitors will be able to see presentations showing current and pioneering concepts themed around lifelong learning. For example, how can virtual reality glasses support education, and what’s new on the subject within the paper, office supplies and stationery sector? Christmasworld will feature talks and guided tours throughout its special areas.
