The second edition of the show had been due to take place at Emirates Old Trafford on the 9 th and 10 th October, 2018. “We feel the level of uncertainty in the market is too high to expect our exhibitors to risk supporting a new show,” explains Event Manager, Hazel Fieldwick. “We appreciate the trust and support of companies who had committed to our Manchester show, and we will ensure that all of them are recognised accordingly.” The announcement came just days after this year’s LaunchPad competition opened for entries, and those already received will be carried forward to next year’s Stationery Show London. “It is frustrating to walk away from an event that the whole team was working hard on and looking forward to, but we cannot ignore the economic realities stationery industry suppliers are currently facing,” adds Hazel. Ocean Media is now focusing its efforts on the London show, which will return for its ninth edition at the Business Design Centre on 30 th April and 1 st May, 2019. Visitors will include those from the wholesale, retail and specialist trade, as well as home improvement companies and garden centres, internet and mail order suppliers and commercial consumers. “Our concept has proven its worth and been accepted by both trade and industry,” adds Michael. “Creativeworld is the ideal business, trend and order platform for this sector.” Visit creativeworld.messefrankfurt.com for the latest news and updates. craft focus 23 shows and events
