The new Paint’ON À Grain pads use extra white 250g paper, which is 100 per cent pure cellulose, acid free and ph neutral. There is a pronounced grain on the front, and a very light grain on the reverse making this paper useful for dry techniques, and for wet media such as felt tips, India ink, gouache and acrylic. The company has also expanded the popular Multi-Technique family with the new Carb’ON and Cray’ON ranges. Carb’ON pads use a light grain black paper, suitable for dry techniques such as pencil drawing, felt-tip, charcoal, chalk, sepia drawing and even India ink. The paper is light resistant, helping to protect works, while Cray’ON pads use an extra white, 100 per cent pure cellulose paper, with a very fine grain on one side. Used for dry techniques in its 120g weight, and dry and wet techniques in its 160g and 200g versions – the pads allow for repeated corrections by scratching, and can also be easily erased without going fluffy.
