Tell us a little bit about the company. Where are you based? When did the company start? We’re Quadrigloo, the UK’s first fully square glue sticks based in London and Birmingham. The company was born in a classroom in 2019 and officially registered in April 2024. Who founded the company and why? The company was founded by myself, Joyce Kudehinbu, when I was in year nine after battling with the corners on a worksheet and wondering why glue sticks are round and circular when we mainly use them for paper that is straight and rectangular. How has the company evolved? We’ve been trading for just under a year and are currently stocked in two independent stores. We’ve gained an audience on TikTok and will be in a number of schools this academic year. What do you specialise in? We sell the UK’s first square glue sticks. Where would you love for your products to be stocked? We believe you should have the same access to a square glue stick as you do a round glue stick... so, everywhere! But in particular we’d love to be in craft stores and stationers like Hobbycraft and Ryman.
