2025 is here! As we look ahead with hope and high expectations, we ask what will the retail landscape look like over the next 12 months? Maybe as a business you’re looking to generate new trade prospects by embracing technologies, including 3D printing and digital design tools; or maybe you’re concentrating on your eco credentials, supplying environmentally friendly options for customers? Furthermore, maybe this is the time to reinvent your store as a community space, offering workshops and tuition or simply providing a comfy corner to sit and read. Options are plentiful and I hope you find a business model to help you going forward, keep the cogs turning and the tills ringing. Metallic Elephant was founded in the lovely countryside of North Essex in 2007 by Karl and Ros. Karl had a background in engineering and machine manufacture having worked at John T Marshall Ltd, a well know hot foil press maker. Ros's background was in the litho printing industry and particularly pre-press. They desired to run their own company and put their experience to good use.
